Description

Control your browsing with Redirect Web. Set custom redirect rules to navigate your favorite sites automatically. Enhance your web experience today!

This is a Safari extension that allows you to create redirect rules to jump from one web page to another.

== Use Cases ==

For example, you can create redirect rules to:

・ Open Reddit with the old layout
・ Open Apple Maps when opening Google Maps links
・ Google Search: Disable AI features, etc. by adding udm=14
・ Redirect the Terraria and Minecraft wikis on Fandom to their canonical wikis
・ Use Kagi, Startpage, and any other search engine as your default search engine
・ Open Notion links in the Notion app automatically
・ Open Google Meet links on Google Chrome

You can get all of these as pre-defined rules for free from the Library section in the app!

== How to Use ==

1. Create a redirect rule on the app
2. Enable the created redirect rule
3. Open a web page you want to jump from in Safari
4. And the extension will then redirect you to another web page as configured!

You can also get useful rules from the Library section in the app!

== Features ==

・ Detailed redirect rules
You can use wildcard or regex to specify redirected URLs.
Both of them support back-references.
Also, you can set multiple excluded URL patterns.

・ Import/export redirect rules as a file
The rule file of Redirector (by Einar Egilsson) is also supported partially.
Press the Option (⌥) key when the share menu is displayed.

== Unlock ALL Features ==

You can unlock these by the subscription or the one-time purchase:

・ Enable 2 or more redirect rules
・ Sync redirect rules with your other Mac, iPhone and iPad through iCloud

(Your purchase also supports the developer. (^_^))
Your purchase made on your iPhone or iPad can be used on your Mac as well, and vice versa.

Nice app. Does as it promises.

Just wanted to add a positive review for this app/extension. Seems well/nicely implemented. Makes life easier than using TamperMonkey or such. Library of redirects is a nice feature. Developer is active and responsive on Reddit. Not used the direct feedback on the app itself yet but seems positive. Bought the lifetime subscription whilst is reasonable cost. Never left an app review to this point but want to encourage the Developer to maintain support for this app! Would encourage other users to do the same. Thank you.

Yup

Does what it says, really handy! Use it for fixing Reddit and Google, and working around breakage is some ancient sites. The functionality is included in some other extensions but it's usually nothing like as comprehensive as in this one. Dev responded to my complaints by implementing fixes very quickly. Great work, thanks a lot!

Edit (2024/10/07): The issue you initially reported was indeed a bug. I apologize for the confusion earlier, but thanks to your detailed feedback, I was able to fix it. I really appreciate your help!

I think you haven't clicked the icon of this extension on Safari's toolbar yet. This extension needs your permission to work, and clicking the icon triggers the permission request. Therefore, you need to click it and allow it at least once.

Regarding the crash, I haven't received any other bug reports yet. Could you please send me a video of what it looks like? You can send it through the companion app > "Help" on the menu bar > Send feedback.

Perfect little utility to auto redirect in Safari

Works exactly as expected, and provides a helpful example test url tool also. Recommended!
