Description
• Believe I have now found the problem that causes a crash in Notify Tab if any ‘Marked’ locations added, it’s when the iPhone clock time is set to the ‘12 Hour’. After much work I have fixed the problem and apologize to users that have been affected by this.
• Minor updates following comments by a user and a few minor bugs fixed.
• Added new feature when ‘Larger Display’ in Settings is switched on. When ‘Show Walking Route’ is being used, it displays an estimated time for the walk.
• Found the solution to put the tabs on an iPad back to the bottom of screen in iPadOS 18.
• Added Dark Mode to the app Icon introduce in iOS18.
• This app only grows if more locations are added by users, it’s called “Crowd-Sourcing” so if you find a missing parking space in your local town for example, in Setting tab click the link to website & add them directly.
You can easily email me the location by using the ‘Notify' tab and adding the location by first selecting the number of spaces. Then carefully ‘shaking’ your device to access the select “Add ‘Quick’ Location” from the menu that appears. If possible click in the lower ‘Description’ box ‘X’ to delete the default phrase and add any suitable comments like "on the street bays", near a coffee shop. by the entrance to the car park or "charges apply". After saving the location go to the List tab and do a long press on the location cell you just added (this part can be done at any time). An email fully completed with all the information needed will appear ready for you to send to support. I will then add your suggested location to the database.

Ratings and Reviews
It’s great to have an app!
Update: Developer reached out which is great!! - Andrew; the link on Apple didn’t work to reach out to you so writing here - I have an IPhone X (preferred display appearance ‘dark’). When typing on your app’s search bar the text is white. White search bar - white text is the problem. On separate note, thanks for the hints on using Waze and also now understand the ‘edit location’ function, which I will use to update locations, when needed. And thanks again for this app! It is a life saver! **** It is great to have an app showing the disabled parking spaces as it is definitely a struggle. No app seems to consider the need of disabled people. So I very much appreciate the work the developers have put into this. I only wish it would be a bit more user friendly such as the colour scheme does not allow to read the search bar; it would be great if it could link to Waze or Google map so it can give you directions to drive and take you right to the address etc. And possibly enable users to update the details as half the time the details are missing.

Hi BBUK2012
I am pleased you are finding my app useful but sorry about its shortcomings. I too am disabled so will do my best to help you. If you email me directly and explain how you would like me to improve the search bar colours, I will update it as soon as I can. As to the other matter about getting map directions, that is already available in the app. My app checks if Apple Maps, Waze (my preferred SatNav) or Google Maps are installed and automatically creates the route from your location when you click on the button in my app. If you use other SatNav apps (Tomtom for example) there is the option to copy the disabled parking location you have found to the clipboard. You can then open the app and paste the location (latitude and longitude) into the destination. When you email me I can explain this in more detail with pictures if that helps.
UPDATE
Hi. I didn’t know website was down, trying to sort out why now.
You don’t need to use copy to clipboard & paste, just click Waze button and app do the rest.

I haven’t forgotten you, I am away at present and still making minor changes to the app. Also it gives me a chance to test the improvements including the Dark Mode problems you had. Hopefully I can release update next week.
Improved interface and squished bugs make this app outstanding
Update: The developer asked me for advice on improving the interface and identify any bugs. This has now been addressed.
Don’t be put off by the interface. The app is very easy to use and perfect for finding disabled parking spots. I often need to find disabled parking around University College Hospital in London and so I downloaded this app to help find the spots. The spot I usually use wasn’t in the app but there is a very easy way to submit new spots, which I did. Recommended.

Hi Alastair I am pleased you find my app useful and I am always willing to improve my apps so would value your thoughts on how to make it less ugly.
I am a retired mechanical design engineer who has taught himself to program but don’t have any graphics design experience. I have tried to add little touches and blue is my favourite colour but that’s obviously not enough.
I should also say I am Visually Impaired which may have a bearing on what I create although I believe that a few of the users also have limited sight but this could be catered for within settings via a switch.
Would you be prepared to work with me to improve the app’s visual Impact?
Please email me your comments / suggestions and I will see what I can do. supportcaduk@icloud.com

Hi Arnival 99
Thank you so much for your kind review, it makes all the hard work trying to write & improve my app worthwhile.
I hope to release an update soon to allow panning in the map tab when I have finished testing it.
