Taxicard Booking App 4+

New app doesn’t accept passwords and doesn’t allow you to input a future date booking

The newly rolled out taxicard app is simply not fit for purpose and needs to be scrapped. As has been pointed out on here no one can login as it won’t accept the previous telephone number based password - even if you insert 44 before as informed by Comcab. Now they have changed the desktop version too so you cannot make any online bookings. Considering the taxicard service is meant for vulnerable elderly and disabled people - many with hearing issues - so cannot easily make phone bookings this is quite appalling. Sort it out London Councils and Comcab - so people can actually use the service!

Disheartened 1st time user

I have been recently awarded a Taxicard and booked via the Taxicard app a few days ago for 2 journeys today. Was looking forward to being able to access more community amenities with Taxicard . Had taxi booked for 4.30pmbut got an automated 4.35pm, 4.45pm and 4.45pm to say still looking for driver. Cancelled at 4.55pm and booked an Uber. No taxi turned up at 6.30pm for return visit and no communication to let me know what’s going on. Again had to use another private hire. Got a text at 4.45pm from Addison Lee (I assume on behalf of yourselves) to say taxi arriving in 10 minutes. Private hire was already on its way. I was so upset to find myself let down and having to scramble to find alternative arrangements. Disgusted and dismayed to read so many reviews from disabled and vulnerable like myself who have been let down by your service. I don’t know how people can work for a company tendered to provide a necessary public service and fail to deliver with no consequences. After a day of Carer deciding fo show up 1 1/2 hours late and yourselves not being your word, I go to bed with tears in my eyes and heaviness in my heart.

Drivers are Fantastic

London black cabbies are the best! You can trust their training and their knowledge and they can’t do enough to help this wobbly disabled person! Only problem is at busy times you often can’t get a cab at all. Then they send you a standard taxi (if you’re lucky), which aren’t half as good, or trustworthy.
