TruBlu 12+

I came for Chris Hansen and stayed for the Takedown! This show on TruBlu is more addictive than a plate of chocolate chip cookies. Just when you think it can’t get any better, Hansen walks in and asks, ‘Why don’t you take a seat right over there?’ Watching these predators squirm is my guilty pleasure, and it’s just like Hansen says, ‘I’m Chris Hansen with Dateline NBC, and we’re doing a story on computer predators.’ Except now, it’s on TruBlu, and it’s even better! The app works smoothly, streams flawlessly, and let’s face it, there’s no better way to spend a Friday night than watching these guys realize their chat logs don’t match up to their story. If you haven’t downloaded TruBlu yet, you’re ‘free to leave whenever you like,’ but trust me, you won’t want to!

It’s worth the subscription for me because I’m an enormous Chris Hansen fan. Takedown is a fantastic reboot of To Catch a Predator. If you didn’t like the early seasons, give it another chance because in MOST of the newer seasons they changed back to the original formula where Chris talks to the predators BEFORE they are arrested. Some episodes still occur post arrest, but it depends on which police department Chris is working with. The predators still come up with hilariously dumb excuses, and Chris is still as quick witted and sassy as ever. Highly recommend this app if you’re a fan of the original TCAP series. I gave 4 stars because the price is a bit steep, and unfortunately there’s not much content worth watching beyond Chris’s Takedown episodes. But $5 a month for 10+ seasons of Takedown isn’t that bad. Die hard TCAP fans will enjoy.

As a huge fan of Chris Hansen and his work to stop and remove predators from our communities as well as keeping our children safe, I mainly was interested in the app for his show “Takedown” which is a modern version of the old NBC “To Catch A Predator” series. The show itself is even better now in this version and really is enjoyable to see Chris and law enforcement removing these monsters from society. The other content on here is great as well. This is by far the best true crime/investigation content you can find. I am happy to support these folks so they can continue this work.
