Typical Schluter App
My experience with multiple Schluter apps matches this…. Pretty much junk. New smart thermostat for our heated floor. Download the new app because of course you can’t use the same app. Open the app, give it permission to send notifications and use my location. All I get is a blank white screen. No login screen. No icons. Nothing. Tried multiple devices. iPhone. iPad. Reinstalled. Rebooted my devices. Nothing. Did get the thermostat to connect to my Apple home app, but that gives very limited functionality. Come on, Schluter. It’s 2025. A 10-year-old could write a better app.
Why don’t all the schluter thermostats use the same app
I have 2 ditra heat wifi thermostats and just installed a new ditra heat E-RS1, expecting to be able to add it to the same app, but no, you have to get a totally separate app so now I need 2 apps to control the thermostats in my house….please just combine them all to 1 app this is just silly. Also my login didn’t work I had to register again on the new app so now I have 2 accounts with the same credentials. Why!? It’s like the left hand doesn’t talk to the right hand when making these products.
Yes it’s really that bad
I saw the 1 star reviews but decided to give it a go anyway. Yes it is garbage. I actually got it sort of configured but there is a bug in that I can configure my home but the thermostat is not set as a device. So you can’t control it. No way to add the thermostat as a device because it is already wifi configured. Finally just gave up. Don’t waste your time.
