Sub-Zero Group Owner’s App 4+

I’ve recently changed my phone number since installing the app. It doesn’t allow me to change my login information for the two factor identification. It has my old phone number with no option for updating it. Called customer service but the only suggestion was to create a new account.. I expected a better resolve, especially since I no longer have the same phone number.

We recently had a compressor failure in our 2 year old refrigerator. The temperature was 60° inside the refrigerator when we returned from an extended time away from our home. If we had been notified of an increase in temperature via the app, then we would have had an indication of a problem and we would have arranged for someone to come to look at it and remove refrigerator contents until it could be repaired. The only thing we can see in the app is the set point which doesn’t really help when you can’t see the actual temperature in the unit. This app could utilize the built in WiFi just like EcoBee and Nest thermostats do on their apps. Subzero’s WiFi app is letting its customers down.

You have to enable remote connect on the oven itself every time before you use it. So lets say youve picked up a pizza spontaneously at your favorite pizza place an hour away. You go to preheat your oven remotely out of convenience- oh wait, you can’t do that. You have to physically set up the remote feature on the oven itself- which means you have to know ahead of time that you are going to need to use it before you leave the house. This is not a safety feature. If you want safety then passcode protect the ability to turn the oven on remotely. This is a critical flaw and needs to be fixed. On top of that even this particular method is flakey and doesnt work 100% of the time.
