You’ll give the app access to your local network and it’ll keep sending you to the permission settings for PIXPRO Remote Viewer if you don’t have your Kodak camera connected. This is not the problem that’s preventing you from connecting your camera to your phone so I don’t know why it sends you to permission settings. REAL SOLUTION: 1. Have your camera on WI-FI Mode 2. Go to WI-FI settings on your phone 3. Look for the SSID of your camera (shown on camera screen in WI-FI Mode) under "Other Networks" 4. Enter the password shown below the SSID Should be connected now, you have to go to WI-FI Mode on your camera and go to WI-FI settings on your phone and connect again, however, it should be saved under "My Networks" on your phone so you won’t need the password unless you refresh it on your camera.

Okay to the Einsteins that don’t comprehend how to connect the camera to the app. Turn the camera knob to WiFi mode. It gives you a password. Go to WiFi on your phone, tablet whatever you are using. Look for the PIXPRO WiFi address. Take your finger and tap it. It will ask you for the password. Take your finger and type the password and then click connect. Presto the camera will be connected with the app. Now on the app on the upper right corner there is two icons, one on the right is a phone icon. To the left of it is a camera icon. If you click the camera icon it will show you the pictures on your camera that you can download to your phone pic gallery. From the camera icon you can also work the camera remotely from your phone and the app. I understand some people are not tech savvy but this system is quite elementary.

basically I love this camera a lot it’s amazing and I didn’t know this feature existed but my camera for some reason has stopped working through wired connection (idk it just says connection failed when I plug it in?) but anyways so I went to see what was wrong and I discovered the app.
I downloaded the app and did the wifi thing and everything but the app and the camera would not connect although it did connect to my phone. In the end I came to look at the reviews to see what happened and I saw someone say put your phone in airplane mode then connect to the wifi. After I did that it worked like a dream and it is going to come in really handy if I can figure out how to charge it.
