Very well made game
Geometry Tower: Idle Defense is a very well made game. I found out about this game on TikTok and it popped up as an advertisement and I seen that it was being played correctly unlike other ads so I decided to give it a try and now I’m hooked. It has fun mechanics like merging to gain better equipment and also you can evolve your mini gun, shotgun, EMP, laser, and more. In conclusion, if you are reading this review and never played it go and give this game a try!
Never leave reviews, but today….
I do t leave reviews for games, but this game was worth leaving a review for a game that’s 4 years old. I enjoy the graphics and design, but the ads are out of control. There’s ads constantly at the bottom of the screen, there’s the option of ads for gaining extra rewards, extra runs, ect…but there’s no need for ads at the bottom of the screen when you have all these ways of gaining more ad viewership within the game IE extra rewards. Why throw so many ads all over the app when you can get get them from constant playing of this game. If I play this game every day, watching ads to refresh my choices of weapons during a level, why have ads at the bottom of the screen. Again I don’t leave reviews for games but this was distracting me from enjoying the game its self. I would happily refresh for just watching an ad, or getting a free upgrade for watching an ad. But forcing me to look at ads while playing, I don’t personally enjoy it. Sorry for the essay of text.
It’s paid to win
This game is heavily reliant upon paying to win in this game. The worst part of it all is that you can’t play consistently on certain levels. Plus leveling up your gear is even harder since the rewards are lower and you constantly have to grind.
But the game does give you free energy every day but it’s only 15 three times a day.
If you want to play game better than this, I suggest playing the tower since it’s not reliant on using energy or killing enemies to level up and then losing it all once the game is over.
The tower is reliant on pay to win but at least you earn coins to permanently upgrade your own abilities and get free gems over time to get better stats and get cards to help level up faster and much more.
