Respecting Players

Games, and specifically mobile games have reached a state in which developers exploit and use players for profit. This game defies all the recent tropes that are so common in not just small titles but even big ones. Although this game is not flashy with incredibly detailed art and graphics, the premise and mechanics are interesting and fun. The way in which this game uses ads is incredibly refreshing. Not only are they not in your face and preventing you from playing the actual game, the golden ticket mechanic is a genius way to solve certain features being locked behind an ad wall. This is not a situation where developers are exploiting players, it’s a trade in which both of us benefit. You are not met with an ad every time you load up the game, miss clicks are not penalized by making you watch an ad, there are no ads on the screen, and when you do choose to watch an ad you are prompted with a question that makes sure you want to ACTUALLY want to watch the ad. The gameplay is great and easy to learn and the tutorial is not taxing, but that’s not what will make this game incredibly popular. What’s going to make this popular is the developers attitude towards the player base and commitment towards making an actually good game not riddled with corporate money making schemes.

Great work, can’t wait to play more.

The most part, a very good well balanced game.

I have almost no issues with this game, except if you have multiple top level dinos die at one time and the Internet is kind of sketchy you may only be able to save one or two and it most maybe three but no more than that before time runs out. Aside from that everything is great. There’s not a lot of ways that you could just buy what random mutations you need I mean there is a way of paying for extra mutations, but there’s no telling what you’re going to get, there is a lot of waiting, but it’s all balanced out pretty much I think and I like the way they use their ads as part of the game, like, if you want to special feature, you have to go through the cost of doing it, but the special feature is required mechanic for gameplay so it’s all up to you whether or not you use it. There is a slight glitch in the hunting part where if you selected hunts over and over again and you never zoom back in eventually the game crashes because the math is too zoomed out, but if you were playing on a phone you wouldn’t be able to see anything anyway so I think that’s more of an iPad issue. Keep in mind that with it this game is as addicting as a slot machine because you’re constantly “winning” new mutations at random.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback! We're glad to hear that you enjoy the game overall. We understand your concern about the difficulties in reviving multiple top-level dinos under sketchy internet conditions. We are continuously working to improve the game's stability and performance to help mitigate such issues.

Regarding the hunting glitch, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We'll investigate this further, especially for iPad users, to ensure smoother gameplay.

We aim to maintain a balanced and fair approach to mutations and in-game purchases, and it's great to know you appreciate how ads are integrated. As for the addictiveness of acquiring new mutations, we hope it continues to bring excitement and enjoyment.

Thank you once again for your support and insights. Your feedback is invaluable as we continue to develop and enhance the game.

Best regards,

Favorite game

I absolutely love this game. When I have time to play there is plenty to do and I’m not punished by running out of currency. I watch ads to get perks but I love that it’s my choice and not forced on me. I’m a new mom and the game is forgiving if I can’t pay close attention but easy to play one handed while baby naps.
The art is adorable and the colors and patterns are so fun.
The only things I would like to see are not deal breakers but would be nice quality of life for collectors. The colors are sometimes difficult to differentiate, so names for the collectibles on the collections tabs could help identify them. A collection page for the pattern colors would be useful too. There is no way of knowing how many pattern colors exist and when an egg hatches the game doesn’t indicate if the pattern colors are new. Names for the skins would help notify if certain skins are part of a series, too.
Finally, it would be nice if we could have a way to hatch dinos with patterns or colors we have collected but accidentally lost. I would be more than willing to use bones to purchase such eggs and would accept long hatch times just to get those collectibles back!
Overall, it’s a wonderful game that I am so glad to have found.

Hello,

Thank you so much for sharing your love for the game and providing detailed feedback. We're delighted to hear that you find the game enjoyable and forgiving, especially with your responsibilities as a new mom. It's great to know that the game's design allows for relaxed and enjoyable playtime.

We appreciate your suggestions regarding color differentiation and collection management:
1. **Color Names**: We are planning to add names for colors in an upcoming update to help players better identify and differentiate them.
2. **Pattern Color Collection**: We will also introduce a collection page for pattern colors in the collection book, which will help you keep track of what you have and what you're missing.
3. **Retrieving Lost Collectibles**: We're considering implementing a special event where players can reclaim lost mutants. We suggest saving up pheromones in anticipation of these opportunities.

Your input is invaluable as we strive to enhance the gameplay experience and make it even more enjoyable for everyone. We're thrilled that the game has become a part of your daily routine, and we're committed to supporting your journey in the game.

Thank you once again for playing and for your thoughtful suggestions. We look forward to bringing these improvements to life and continuing to provide an enjoyable experience for you and all our players.
