I deliver Foodja

Several issues with the new version of the app. Aside from one instance of the app crashing (so far) I have had no issues with the abilities of the app to perform. However, as another driver pointed out, I too can never get photos to upload on the first try. The photo upload process is agonizingly sloooooow!! It’s a poor customer experience when they are waiting for you and the picture taking. Photo uploads were fast and never a problem with the prior version of the app. Aside from the photo issues the app has been fine.

Unfair Dispatch System and Decreased Earnings

I’ve completed over 1,200 deliveries with Foodja, and things were going well until they changed my dispatcher. Since then, I’ve noticed a significant drop in the quality of orders, with consistently lower pay. I had to call in every few weeks and get assigned better-paying orders, but that was short-lived as I’d quickly be back to low-paying ones.

At one point, I was averaging $700 to $800 per week, but now it’s dropped to around $350 to $450. When I called to address this issue, I was told to look elsewhere if I could find better offers. That response speaks volumes about how little they value their drivers.

The system is also problematic. Orders are assigned only two hours before delivery, unlike other apps that give drivers 24 to 72 hours’ notice. To make things worse, they recently removed the option to reject offers, leaving drivers with no flexibility.

Foodja used to be a good platform, but I can no longer recommend it to fellow drivers due to these changes.

2 steps forward one step back…

Photo upload is still pretty bad - slow, no indication if the photo is uploading, lots of failed photo uploads in buildings with bad cell service. The expectation that I’ll sit there fiddling with photos for 10 mins after dropping off is insane.

All contact info for clients has been removed from the pdf order info.

Still no way to get order info if the Foodja system goes down or cell service is bad.

Small unresponsive buttons make the app frustrating to use when you are in a hurry which is always because the pickup and drop off times are often poorly scheduled
