This app used to be great. First annoying thing is the adverts. You can turn them off in advanced settings (for a few weeks) then they re appear. The movement sensors used to produce an alarm recording now it doesn’t. Latest thing is only the cameras on the local network can be accessed. The ones in another property don’t appear unless you switch to mobile data. The app is ok but has a few bugs that seriously need ironing out.

Do not buy any cctv system which relys on this app, I have a H.View 1080p 8 cam system which is 18 months old, and this app is used to remote view the system out the box, at first it was brilliant, but the last few updates in the last few months have killed the app, it now hangs all the time, takes minutes to load the cams view, and constantly pauses while trying to view, and remote playback of recorded video is completely useless now, such a shame as the system and app worked so well together, now when i upgrade my cctv in 6 months time I will make sure I choose a brand that has a great app and cares about it’s customers, not forces adverts on it’s customers through a poor rated app they have to use to view their cctv system.... thing is there isn’t even the option to pay a small amount and have an advert free great working app verion like it was when i first got my system.... goodbye H.View it was good while it lasted.

The app itself has always worked fine for me, however the latest “update” now has an advert when the app is first opened. The advert is only for a few seconds but as it’s a cctv system, those extra few seconds of unwanted delay could mean you miss something and have to mess around trying to watch recordings.

Also has a bug where if you are in multi camera view you cannot switch from SD to HD, but if you go into each camera and switch individually, the multi view is shown in HD.
