Absolutely love them ☺️ myself and my daughter set them up and was quite easy once you got going amazing video quality, grandchildren not quite so keen as you can rewind and show them their behaviour when naughty 😎 and also I love that you can talk through them absolutely hilarious when people are unaware, I do a wicked creepy voice 😂😂 I’m now looking to expand them to outside as well 👍

Dev’s broke it

This was a great app until it was updated and now you constantly need to enter the 2FA at really inconvenient times. During an emergency or detection alarm you want to quickly check a camera but now there is a random, but guaranteed badly timed additional step of having to check your 2FA app if you actually have the Yubi key with you or request an email. Kills the use case if detections to the app. You may as well go and check what happened in person or use web console which doesn’t request 2FA. If the app is the only available option you are left wondering what was detected.

I understand the need for security but over zealous dev’s have made the app pointless.

We appreciate the feedback and would like to help. This isn't the expected behaviour. Please reach out to us at mobile-support@ui.com with app logs so we can provide assistance! The log can be gathered by doing 5 quick taps on the version number in the Account view.
Additionally, could you please clarify:
- Are you using other Ubiquiti apps? If yes, then which ones?
- Are you switching between the apps or it happens by just opening Protect app?
- Have you experienced same issue with other Ubiquiti apps?
- Are you signed in with SSO account or is it local direct using SSO? Can try to manually signing out and then back in.
- Did this start to happen with 2.4.0 or even before?

Still in need of “Select All” option.

Lots of updates since setting up the system, but still no “Select All” button to allow us to delete multiple detections. Incredibly frustrating when you have a lot of detections to delete, even more so when they don’t delete first time, and you have to repeat selecting them all individually over and over till they eventually get deleted. Honestly don’t understand why there is no “Select All” button?! … Downgraded to 2 Stars until this is resolved. Such a small change, but has such a big impact in using the App. *** Update 22nd Aug 2024 … More and more updates, but STILL no “Select All” option. Downgraded to 1 Star. It’s amazing how just a single issue, can ruin an entire App.
