Poor upgrade from SplashID Pro

I was urged to upgrade to this version having used the original Splash ID for many years. My biggest complaint is the way the App loads - every time it takes at least a minute to stabilise the record list. When you’re trying to navigate to a record the list keeps resorting back to the beginning - this is very frustrating and slows down user access to the information. Also I think they took my subscription for the old splash ID!

Oh dear!

I’ve been a SplashID user since the days of the Palm and have just updated from SplashID Safe 8 to SplashID 9 and I’m very disappointed. On SplashID Safe, when I left the app I could tell it to lock automatically so I never had to do anything to ensure that my data was secure. On SplashID 9 not only can I not set that, but setting a time to lockout will lock the app even when I am actively using it. I even tried setting the time to 0 thinking that that might be the correct way to tell the app to lock on exit but no, it has apparently been coded with absolutely no sense as that will lock the app after 0 seconds - permanently locking the user out of the app! Thank goodness for my cloud subscription and the fact that settings are not propagated through the cloud! Look, I am very surprised that you have apparently removed a very basic security feature from the app that has been there since at least the first iOS version, please reinstate it. I don’t begrudge the yearly subscription, I find the service to be excellent, but this is something that might make me look at alternatives for the first time ever. If this is changed in an update then I will update my rating.

Touch ID on MacOS doesn't work

Been reporting this to Splash for about a year now. Keep being told to upgrade to latest version. Never changes anything. Not going to continue to use if I have to type in a long password every time I want to use.

Really poor app compared to v8 which seems to work completely fine. Very dissapointed as have used Splash for many years but may not continue
