Hmm

£8.99 is quite pricey, at least it’s not a subscription. But why then am I expected to pay another £1.99 to remove branding? Come on, make the pro package everything. Other than that it looks okay but the proof will be when I try using it properly rather than just a quick poke around.
Update: Once you start using it it is fairly straightforward, I couldn’t see how to add items but it was because I forgot to click ‘done’ on editing a category. Then on it was fine. Seems very good and lots of features. Definitely the best one I have found. Just sort out the ‘pro’ pricing, make it everything.

Astounding - it’s that good.

I’ve been using the app for several months now and have several databases all shared with family (stuff for insurance, inventory of things in storage, etc.), and I can’t praise it enough.

So far, everything I’ve reached for has been there waiting for me. Eg: nested categories and nested locations, sync across family members (or not), summaries based on specific fields, rich import and export, item level actions… and so much more.

Excellent. Really excellent.

Already paid; functionality removed.

Having paid for MyStuff2 and added many items to my database, the barcode functionality has now been removed. Instead, I appear to have to purchase the MyStuff2 Pro app to use this functionality. Really? I am not, and I would urge others not to purchase MyStuff2 Pro as the developers track record here would suggest in time they will disable something key in the app and invite its users to buy a new version. I’m fine with paying for a new app with new functionality, but that has to be my choice as a consumer; not forced upon me by disabling the functionality of the app I’ve already purchased.
I would respectfully invite the developers to reinstate the barcode reader in MyStuff2 now and to respond to this comment.
