WOW! Just what I was looking for.

Took me a couple of hours to get my head around how this app worked best, as I found the help documentation very basic. But once I was up to speed I found it incredibly organised and logical for creating a new way to catalog my movie collection, on both physical and digital media.

Sure, there are apps out there that scan barcodes and populate (too much) information for you, but they all seemed to have overpriced subscription plans too. I've been able to create something very bespoke to my needs that looks smart, simple and intuitive. And with the URL features I can also have direct links to digital versions of my movies whether online or on my home Plex server. This app now helps me keep track of all the movies I own, on 6 different physical formats spread over 4 locations, plus 3 digital services. And syncs between iPhone, iPad and Mac with ease. Looking forward to cataloging more things now.

Highly recommended if you're willing to put in the time.

Perfect app for organising collections & references

I am in the process of migrating my glass collection from Airtable to Collections Database. The functionality is exactly what I need. Not only have I been able to document my glass in a collection, but I have been able to create additional collections for purchase receipts, manufacturers records, pattern identification sources and ephemera.

Information can be linked from one collection to another, so I can easily view which pieces of glass were bought from where, when, how much it cost, who manufactured it and what books or catalogues it appears in.

When I did have a hiccup with the app, support responded promptly and fixed the problem within 24 hours. They were incredibly helpful.

Having a background in IT and now working in museums, I can honestly say this app is perfect for my interests. Especially as I can enter information on my computer at home, but then reference the data on my phone when I am out and about.

I just hope there isn't a limit to how many records I can have, as I can see myself using this app to organise more things in future!
