Isn’t it about time this app got fully updated. It’s been over a year since this app was updated what i could see on this app information. No wonder us parents are having problems logging in to our children’s school app information & missing out on messages that we can’t read as they don’t seem to load up as we get notifications & randomly logs us out. It’s getting ridiculous now that the app is stalling to load up on different sections of the app when we want to view my child/children’s timetable & messages from school & attendance etc. Since using this app in September 2023 after getting setting up details from school it’s been hard work setting up & using. And it keeps forever randomly logging out & not fully loading up messages after receiving notifications. Please get this app sorted, or it’s not worth schools having. I might encourage the school to use another platform like my other child’s school has of Arbor that they use now instead of what they have use of this similar platform of ParentMail. It’s getting to the stage what’s the point in using these apps if they are not fit for purpose. Schools might as well just stick to the general emailing to our email addresses or text message us or inform us on social media as that’s what users prefer theses days of communication. Hope this app improves soon. It’s getting so frustrating to use. At the moment i can not rate it no more than 1. It’s definitely not 5* anyway.

Sends you on a vicious circle of logging in and then going back to the login screen after doing this about 10 times and closing the app and restarting it multiple times I have maybe a 50:50 rate at best of actually being able to log in on any given day. This seems to have been getting even worse lately. Usually then the school dinner money account tab fails to load so there is no way to see how much money is left and no way to access the website to log in directly. I’m unable to find the ESS login site to top up the dinner money online directly so this leaves me unable to top up my kids’ accounts. Given that you get taken out of the app to an online site to do the actual top-up it is ridiculous that the app acts as a hopeless gatekeeper. Unfortunately I have to keep using it because it’s the only way I have of attempting to ensure my kids get fed at school. I would have deleted it long ago if I could!

I wish the developers of this app could experience what seemingly the vast majority of users experience. If I could stop using this app I would, but I can’t as I need it to keep up to date with my childrens homework, progress, attendance, attainment etc etc. and that’s where the problems begin.
If the app worked it would be great because what it offers is a great idea, in fact on the rare occasions it does work it’s a great tool and very useful. But like many others I spend so much time in the cycle of trying to log on that by the time it might miraculously log me in, I’ve forgotten what I was going on for! I get a notification from school that my child has an achievement point or homework due and I can never just open the app, see what the achievement point was for or what the homework is. If I was the developer of this app I would be embarrassed. Please, just sort it out 🙏
