The Quotemehappy Connect app rewards you with points simply for driving safely and a personalised renewal price based on your driving. You’ll see a weekly driver rating in the app dashboard and receive regular feedback so you’ll always know how you’re doing. Whether you have a red, amber, green or gold driver rating we’ll show you how to improve your driving style and give you time to achieve this. If your driving style is more risky and doesn’t improve your insurance could be cancelled.
The safer you drive the more reward points you can get to spend on the things you love. It’s simple - safer drivers get better rewards.
How does the Quotemehappy Connect app work?
The Quotemehappy Connect app uses sensors in your smartphone connected to a small device which you’ll need to attach to your car windscreen (so the app knows your car is being driven). The app automatically records how your car is driven and gives a rating for each trip by measuring:
• Speed – how fast you drive compared to the legal road limits
• Smoothness – if harsh braking, acceleration or cornering is affecting your rating
• Distracted driving – if you make a phone call, use your smartphone screen which distracts your driving
• Usage – when you’re driving, if you’re doing lots of journeys each day or driving without a break
Key features of the app
• Your trip details – a personalised dashboard showing your trips, driving behaviours and map details of where you can improve
• Driver ratings – your weekly driver rating and a breakdown of your speed, distracted driving, usage and smooth driving
• Rewards – if you’ve earnt points, your current balance and where you can bank and redeem them for e-giftcards
• Overall driver rating – a view of your overall driver rating and how this contributes to your renewal price
• Help, videos & tips – access to support if you need it, safe driving videos and FAQ’s

You’ll need to buy a Quotemehappy Connect car insurance policy from Quotemehappy.com or a Price Comparison Website. We’ll send your app activation email and device when your policy starts with some simple steps to start earning points.

yet another example of not reading information from or literally not caring about your customers. Please see below. We’ve been trying for weeks to get help from Quotemehapoy. All they do is send the same stock answers and never actually help. There is literally no support with this app. Don’t believe me. Take a look on the ratings here and trust pilot. Pathetic.
My son has been using this app with no issues for 6 months or so. One day he starts getting emails and texts saying the journeys he’s making are not being logged and his insurance will be cancelled if not corrected. We’ve tried everything to get this app working again, without success, now it’s refusing to let us log in at all. There is zero customer support to help fix these problems. We’ve completed the online checks and even sent a request but guess what, they instruct you to log into the app to get screenshots to send to them. WE CAN’T GET INTO THE APP.

Nightmare
Honest, when i first started my insurance i was pretty confused as to why people were struggling with this app.. then a few weeks in it’s absolutely ridiculous. the distracted driving thing is no joke, it’s like you tap your phone to see the time (even stationary) and it knocks a point. to give fairness, the B.B doesn’t know when you’ve parked or when you’re not so it will take it as on journey BUT it seems to like to make up your journey too.. it says i ‘cornered’ on a turn i never made and docked points for that too..
and also, don’t even try to break gently because either way it likes to say it was harsh and knock down your smoothness points as well… it’s a nightmare.. thankfully it’s okayish if you set up your maps/music before you drive but don’t even have notifications on if i was you

Reviews on here are right. Don’t think it’s going to be any different for yourself.
You will get marked for being on your phone the minute before the engine is on. Also when driving, it will dock points for distracted driving when you’re not even on your phone, it’s for simply accidentally tapping the screen when it’s in your pocket or looking at the time.
I can’t lock my phone down because the app needs to work whilst driving, so I now have to shove it in the glovebox, and even then it accidentally turns on.
Also don’t go on any routes that have tight turns going onto a main road, you’ll have to match the speed of traffic after doing such a turn, and if the traffic is constant, you’re never getting out and cars behind are honking the horn.
You have to accelerate and will be penalised for doing so
