Octopus Energy Agile Watcher 4+

Moved to Octopus earlier this year and hands down, probably the best provider. The sweater was having Agile watcher App which gives me quick view of the rate every 30mins and using the api, I get a view of my consumption and cost for the previous day. Feedback 1. Instead of 30 day rolling allow customers to configure their billing cycle date and therefore the associated estimated bill which will/should be very close to actual 2. Give customer avg cost on electric per day when the rates publish at 4pm every day on Agile Tariff

Octopus should hire the developer of this to fix their shockingly poor app. The fact this app exists speaks volumes about Octopus’ own version.

This app makes it so easy to see at a glance what the current rate is. It’s just a swipe to the left, rather than half a dozen clicks. Loads of other features too such as your daily usage in pence and KW. Not sure if the app does plunge pricing alerts yet, but hopefully it will. Possibly as you can set alerts when a certain time/rate is scheduled. If it can that will be the cherry on top.

If you’re on Octopus Agile I’d say this app is nigh on essential.

I’m a recent convert to Agile Octopus and I’m so glad I happened upon this app. Logged a support call after downloading app as my tariff was not available to select following initial login. Fix was applied within a few hours; very impressed.

I have solar PV and battery storage and make full use of the cheap Agile rates to keep my batteries topped up during these darker winter days. I’m now enjoying using the app on a daily basis to see exactly how much my leccy ⚡️ is costing me.
