Make sure you download the fantastic NCP app before entering one of our car parks to guarantee the best experience and great prices. 

Downloading the NCP app means you can purchase a digital monthly, quarterly and annual season tickets, depending on your needs. This season ticket will then be stored in app, meaning you will never forget or lose a physical season ticket again!

Features of the NCP app include:

• The ability to pay as you go and access your season ticket, if you have one, in one place – combining two apps into one
• Extend your parking session in-app to save you having to go back to your car – you will be notified by push notifications from the app so please ensure you have enabled Push in your device settings to stay up to date
• 1 QR code for ALL of your products
• Ability to favourite sites that you regularly visit in your favourites list
• AutoPay provides fully automatic recognition and payment at selected sites via your vehicle registration number (VRN)

Absolutely garbage

I’ve just had the misfortune of trying to pre-pay for a parking, The short version is it’s a pain on the back side, and to prebook you need to set up a separate online account!!

The long version 1) find the carpark you want to pay for, and 2) confirm you want to prepay. 3) get taken through to another page, where you have to search for the carpark again. 4) Enter your parking details, 5) try to enter your email address
and password, doesn’t recognise it. 6) try again typing slowly this time, still doesn’t recognise it 7) try a different password. No still not recognised 8) try the reset password option, but it does not recognise my email. 9). Try my email all lower case in case its caps sensitive. No still not recognised. 10). Go back to the app and log out and log back in to check I know my password, I can log on to the app fine this way!!! 11). Go back through all the steps above again. 12) go to create a new account and realise that for what ever crazy reason the app is separate from the advanced booking system, so I have to add all my details and card details again. Finally after 40 minutes of trying I have managed to book my carpark!!!!

Come on NCP get your act together!!

Buggy (and can only have one car)

App still awful. Entered an auto pay barrierless car park twice this week and didn’t handle either session correctly. Customer service horrendously slow. Sort it out NCP!!

When I saw the reviews of the new app I was expecting it to be dreadful. Despite the new single car app limit (which is a real pain) the UI is actually quite nice in the app. The in-app timer feature for your parking session is a nice improvement, and when I parked in an autopay barrierless car park I liked being able to see the current session rather on the Park Pass app when it was only visible as an ‘expired’ session after you’d left. Unfortunately though this is where it got buggy. I left the car park but the app did not register this. My card wasn’t charged and the parking timer just kept increasing. I left it overnight hoping it would sort itself out, but had to contact customer services for them to end it manually. The chat support in app was ok and I could get back to my chat, adviser was quick and helpful. But you do have to stay in window or the session will close to chat and need to be connected again and you can miss replies. If the single car limit was removed - which is obviously a £££ driven decision as in app parking is a preferential rate and sort out the bugs then it’d be a decent app. You do get the sense this was rushed to market and needed a few more QA runs…

Terrible

Probably the worst app I’ve used. Signed me out so when I came to park in my usual car park which I use regularly for work I had to sign in, however when attempting to sign in it notified me I didn’t have an account so I tried to sign up but couldn’t as it stated I did have an account. Went round in circles for a while doing this. So tried to do forget password incase that would get it to work, reset password and still receive same error upon trying to sign in telling me my account does not exist. Closed down all apps incase it was my phones error not the app to which appeared to work as when opened app I was somehow signed in, however no option to pay for parking, continued to attempt to reload app to pay and would either be faced with same message to reload as unavailable or it would sign me out and ask me to sign in to which it would then either say I had no account again or it would just load a page which told me to reload. Spent all day attempting to reload as well as trying to talk to someone at NCP to help, think I spoke to 3 people on the chat facility with no resolution. Still not able to pay for the car park and still not able to load app. So if a fine or ticket is received for not paying I’ll dispute it and now going to have to find another car park for work which there are non close by other than NCP ones which I can’t pay for as the app is broken. Fix it!
