My Lightning Tracker & Alerts 4+

As a golfer, lightning on a golf course is about the most dangerous things one can encounter. Many years ago I actually saw a player struck and killed by lightning and since then, whenever there is the slightest hint of a thunder storm I’ve gone. Often this has not materialised into a storm and I could safely have continued.
A couple of weeks ago I discovered this app and downloaded it. Some days later I was playing golf when I heard thunder in the far distance. Normally I would have been off the course as fast as I could. This app showed me that the storm was around eight miles to the East, was heading North and would pass by without getting any closer. I therefore continued playing.
Not only was I impressed with the accuracy and information given by the app, so also were my playing partners who were so impressed, they all said they too would download it.

Had our first storm just after i installed it, set it with a range of 100miles had to bring down the mileage cause my phone kept alerting , I surprised at the amount of strikes there were, and logged , love the choices of thunder sounds as a alert + standard alerts, so far so (extremely) good, simple to use and to navigate with a good selection of adjustment tools, thanks for such a great simple App,
It’s been a great app so far BUT! It doesn’t send a warning alert most of the time, we had quite a few strikes yesterday, I never got any audible alerts on my phone or my iPad, (Thunder 2)
Checked all my settings, no issues there, seems it’s all or nothing,

This is a really good and wanted it as I walk a lot and needed something to warn of Thunderstorms.
When you buy the update to remove the adverts, make that you remove the free version and install the Pro version. I thought that my paid for version wasn’t working until I discovered this. I did my update via the app and there is nothing there to tell you to download the Pro version.
Perhaps this is something that the update via the app should point out.
