Praise for Lifeline:
“This is the best game on the Apple Watch.” – Time.com
“I’ve played many games that I find engrossing, but Lifeline may be one of the first that changed the way I thought about my daily routine, which leapt off the screen and became a part of my lived experience.” - Eli Cymet, Gamezebo
“For a few brief hours I cared – really cared – about the fate of a completely fictional character. I don’t think any other game I’ve played has made me feel that way before.” - Matt Thrower, PocketGamer

Ratings and Reviews
I love it
As with the first lifeline game I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing and was very pleasantly surprised when you get reunited with Taylor. I thought the writing was fantastic as with the last game and I will continue to play anymore games you bring out. Very cheeky mailing list at the end but I don't mind too much because I love the things you make.
Thank you for an amazing story and an incredibly enjoyable gaming experience.
Immersive, funny but flawed
As with the first Lifeline, the writing is excellent and would stand on its own as a short sci-fi novel. This is enhanced by the interactive element and the way that Taylor as a character is so well constructed and nuanced: you really feel warmth and responsibility towards him. Where the game falls down is that it feels rushed to market and careless. There are a number of places where the *exact* same text string is used within a short window "Crap. Dr Crappenstein..." and so on. While Taylor is a nicely fleshed-out protagonist, most other characters appear fleetingly and leave little impression. If this was the first Lifeline game I'd played I would be more forgiving, but the first instalment was so well constructed this feels more than anything like a hastily constructed attempt to cash in on its success. Shame.
Protest against mailing list trick
Once again, I felt a huge empathy for Taylor and enjoyed playing the game.
My main criticism is that this ended way too quick and way too simply. I would have liked to explore a few more options, bit of backstory, bit of the origin of the Green maybe. Definitely a few more challenges along the way, rather than just getting to different parts of the ship for nothing to happen.
I’m giving this one star because of the cynical request for my email address at the end. Wouldn’t have minded a prompt from the game, but to have the character ask if I want to stay in touch is a cheap, dirty trick and I really resent that. It completely tarnished my view of the company that markets the game. Not the writer, or the game itself, I want to make that clear, but it does make me wonder if the Lifeline series will become a sellout.
