Unlock the Secrets Hidden Beneath the Mountain

A mysterious portal draws you into a forgotten temple, hidden deep within a vast cave system. As you explore its intricate halls, you'll uncover cryptic notes left by Theo, a once-trusted friend. What happened to him in this strange place? His discoveries have set something ancient and powerful in motion. Now, it’s up to you to uncover the truth and solve the mysteries that lie within.
Journey from room to room, each filled with mechanical puzzles and visual clues hidden in the environment, as you uncover the secrets of the temple. Along the way, you’ll piece together what happened to Theo and ultimately decide: Will you follow his path, or choose your own way?

Inspired by the classic point-and-click adventure games of the 90s, Legacy 4: Tomb of Secrets brings the timeless puzzle-solving gameplay of the genre into the modern era. Fans of escape rooms and retro adventure games will feel right at home with intuitive controls, rich storytelling, and a world packed with mysteries to uncover.

For those looking for a challenge, Legacy 4: Tomb of Secrets offers two difficulty modes. Play in hard mode for a true test of your puzzle-solving skills, where the hint system is disabled. Or choose normal mode, where the dynamic hint system gives you subtle nudges, helping guide you without revealing the answer outright. If you get stuck, the hints gradually build to a complete solution, ensuring you’re never truly lost.

Legacy 4: Tomb of Secrets is fully 3D, with beautiful, immersive graphics that bring the dark, mysterious temple and its mechanical wonders to life. Explore stunning environments that draw you into the heart of the adventure.

Features:
• Engaging story with hidden notes revealing the fate of your friend
• Immersive 3D environments blending ancient temples with steampunk-inspired mechanics
• Clever escape room-style puzzles that require both brainpower and hands-on interaction
• Mechanical puzzles and visual clues hidden throughout the environment
• Inspired by classic 90s point-and-click adventures
• Dynamic hint system: Get gentle nudges or the full solution if needed (disabled in hard mode)
• Atmospheric soundtrack and visuals that draw you deeper into the adventure
• Your choices matter: Discover multiple endings based on your decisions

Masterpiece

Agree this description by previous reviewers (and similarly recommend doing 1-3 first). Beautiful but more importantly truly original puzzles which must be getting harder for devs and genre expands. Really like use of themes (eg without spoilers, the lasers and specific viewpoints) that push complexity and how some devices can be used more than once in different ways, along with puzzles across multiple rooms. Fantastic hint system - needed a few times. Usually just kicking myself after. One or two where I don’t think I would have got otherwise (and I think this is the basis of occasional poor reviews) but more a different wavelength to dev thing - never completely unfair or ridiculously hidden and a price well worth paying for such a fantastic game without being too simple. David - no disrespect to reviewers who say it’s too difficult but please do a Legacy 5 and don’t change your principles. There’s a place for ‘switch off’ games of course but also for your amazing total immersion without the TV in background type!

Another great game from David

Some very inventive puzzles here! A good mix of simple to complex with a definite need to think outside the box. Thank gawd for the hints though 😁 they are very well offered, starting tiny which is sometimes all you need (eg. Look in room 22), right through to how to do it. I did need to use hints quite a bit, especially from roughly 2/3’s through the game. Some of these puzzles are fiendishly difficult! Not in an overly complicated way, but because you really do need to think outside that box. For example, smoke signals!! Cheese! However, even using the hints is enjoyable because you can see how ingenious the puzzle is. It wasn’t like impossible to solve, you just looked at it the wrong way. The ability to teleport between rooms is also excellent because having to constantly retrace one’s steps like in many other games is boring. My only gripe is that I’m miffed that the rat didn’t make it 😞 it wasn’t my fault, honest - I tried to feed it……….

Mind Boggling Puzzles!

There’s a lot more thinking to do in this game compared to the previous 3 chapters but it’s good to be challenged. It’s clear an awful lot of work has gone into producing it and some challenges are logical whilst others are not so easy. I’m glad there’s an inbuilt hint system as I needed to use it often but others may be better than me at solving problems. I’ll need to replay this chapter to fully get the hang of it and I don’t mind that at all. It’s great value for money and highly enjoyable. I wasn’t so keen on the ending as I didn’t know if I’d succeeded but then that makes me wonder if there will be more to come? I hope so as it doesn’t feel completed just yet. I’d highly recommend playing the previous 3 chapters first to fully immerse yourself in the story.
