Great way to stay fit

There are no two ways about it. As you get older, you either stay fit or turn into a cabbage! I have no intention of turning into a vegetable so I keep moving. Walking the dog 3 times a day is good for the legs and general well-being but these exercises work my arms and my core as well. I’m still doing the chair exercises, of the challenging variety, because I broke my hip at the beginning of the year and at not quite 70, I need to be kind to myself. I have been exercising for 32 days and feel great. I do the same exercise twice every day and add one of the Over 60’s set at the end. It takes around 20 minutes, which is hardly a large slice of the day. Try it - it might be the best decision you’ve taken all year!

Great app

I am housebound with a number of health issues hence my fitness was non existent and my weight was increasing beyond healthy. Out of sheer desperation I have tried many get fit apps. I simply could not manage them. I downloaded Lazy Fit and I am greatly enthused by it. I can do most of the exercises and after a month I feel so much more positive. I’ve missed a few, or didn’t complete them due to severe breathlessness and all I get from the app is encouragement. I feel so much better physically and my mental health has improved greatly. I would recommend it to anyone who is struggling to cope with life in general.

LazyFit home workout

Enjoying this, I am 82 and have been unwell so I do get tired and achy. But all in all I feel it doing me good. Thank you. I endeavour to keep it up except some days, my day cannot fit it in so I do miss the odd one.

The above I wrote earlier. I add that I still enjoy the ones I can do. Some days I can’t fit it in but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to do it. I have looked though the workouts and several are not suitable for me as I can’t bend my body as is required. I would like to do the ones for my tummy and waist area but again they are too strenuous for me. I am enjoying the walking ones at the moment and they stretch me sufficiently to tire me. I started with the chair ones and I see there are some more so I may go there next.
