Downloaded films don’t stay downloaded !!!

I bought a 1TB iPad with the intention to download all my movie libraries onto it to watch when travelling and trips away. None of the movies on this app stay downloaded and constantly have to be downloaded again and again, which I have now given up on.
This is so frustrating when you’re away and have little or no wi-fi, so I have a lot of movies on this app I cannot enjoy whilst away. I’ve had to buy some of these movies again from the iTunes catalogue so as they’re available for me to watch offline.

Feels untested

Just doesn’t really work. Downloaded movies seem to “expire” after a month or so - but instead of saying this (and perhaps giving you warning days before?) it just comes up with a random error and won’t play unless you delete and re-download. Other bugs include sometimes not being able to play a movie at all, or it won’t let you watch the first episode in a series - only workaround for either of these seems to be to delete app and re-install. This is all fairly basic stuff - it’s not like I’m trying to do anything unusual.

Wish I’d bought the movies on a platform that does the basics - definitely won’t buy movies through google again.

OK when it works

I have bought a lot of my movies on Google Play and now Google TV.
Some problems with off line playing on iPad are frustrating (can make flights boring when they won’t play).

Also, please please please allow purchases of movies on the iOS apps!
