Very good
Not a perfect app by any means but generally very good. A million times better than FaceTime. Got this to use with my boyfriend as he has a google phone and I have an iPhone 7+. Have had no problems at all with disconnections, picture is clear 99% of the time and never really lags. Audio excellent, a 100x better than Facebook messenger video or FaceTime. Easy to use and to call. A few suggestions, the rate it drains your battery is shocking so make sure you have a charger nearby! This is something that definitely should and can be improved, if it's using wifi it really shouldn't need to drain it that much. Secondly, a log of previous calls and length they were would be nice, this is a feature of FaceTime I feel like could be easily put on here. Finally, notifications are slightly annoying, never shows the ringing but just sort of pops up! None of these are really bad at all though, overall an excellent app that I would put highly over the apple version. Very pleased to have found it!

Hey guys so this is a review where i start yapping in 3 2 1 for a few months to get a better feel of what I am looking at in my head but it seems to me like the best thing is to just go for a little more than that I don’t have any experience in this sub so if I am not looking at the same stuff I would be better at this than the others so if I can do that then I’ll go ahead with the plan but if you want I would be interested to know if I am not going back in time and if you want me too but if I can just say I will go ahead with the same things that you guys have to do that is what you can go back and I don’t want you guys to see you know I don’t know what you can do it
Worse than MS Teams
Received a Google meet link in an email to my MacBook. Used it to try to make a Google meet call. Google meet asked endless questions about selecting backgrounds and backgrounds effects et cetera. Then when the fall finally connected I could see the recipient but couldn’t hear him, he could hear me, but not see me.. I hung up and tried again. This time Google meet provided a background which was a giant out of focus picture of my fruit bowl. I could hear the call recipient but tantalisingly faintly. This was because despite making the call from my MacBook, Google meet had decided — in its wisdom – – that I wanted to use my phone! Why aren’t EARTH would you set defaults in such an absurd and ridiculous way? If you call from your MacBook, you want to connect from your MacBook, not some other device. FGS. Large software companies really need to take a long, hard look at themselves and start developing software that simply does what the user tells it. Stop believing that you know better than the user what the user wants. You do not.
