Foxmail 4+

Just downloaded this app and attempted to add a gmail account. Received a message from Google explaining they had blocked this app as it doesn’t meet the required security standards.

Tried Foxmail using an Exchange connection but that failed to complete the config with an “unknown error”. Tried again using an IMAP connection and that successfully worked. Added my next l account and that hung the app and I had to force quit. I reopened the app and it has both accounts but you have to flip between viewing one account and viewing the other. I am not totally opossed to this view option but it would be nice to have the option to be able to view both accounts together.

Foxmail does not appear to have drag & drop support when I tried to drag an image from a Safari windows across to a newly composed mail in Foxmail.

Also the Capture Screen feature is nice but doesn’t appear to support dual-display setups as you can only take a screen capture from the primary screen.

Foxmailhas a clean UI and feels less clunky than Apple Mail. I have never minded Apple Mail but the version in Yosemite is buggy and unreliable hence my reason for trying out Foxmail which I have only been using for an hour so lets see.

Got my account synced easel enough, outgoing emails worked smoothly. Despite several tests incoming mail did not arrive in the inbox. Unreliable app.
