Great game, but lacks consistency.

Love the game, simple, well executed and addictive. You can really progress without purchases which is fantastic too.

The jump between divisions is difficult and is a juggling act with improving infrastructure and juggling player wages etc. which is good, realistic, and keeps it challenging. Can be frustrating, if (more likely when) you get relegated your finances are grim and your best players want to leave.

It’s a really enjoyable game.

The major problem I have is the lack of consistency in the game.

I have a club with 99 Training / 99 Youth Academy / 99 Manager / 80,000 Stadium.
One season I can finish second, the next, 7th.
Struggle in Europe every year it seems like.
There are teams that just seem to always beat me no matter my stats, Crystal Palace every single season.. pretty sure it’s a bug!

And as others have said, you just seem to randomly go on streaks of awful results out of nowhere littered with a high number of draws.

Can’t improve any more, perfect infrastructure, best players and manager and I still can’t win the premier league and my league finishes fluctuate heavily season by season.

After all the time and patience invested it’s just really annoying to not have a match simulation engine that can provide better consistency! Makes me want to put my phone down and stop playing - which is a shame.
Please try and fix, love the game otherwise.

Excellent football manager game

This is an excellent game and much improved from the old version. I love the new additions of substitutes and that they actually get used during the game.
The introduction of financial fair play is brilliant and adds an extra challenge to the game.

I have some suggestions:

I won the the euro shield and the FC cup but came 6th in the league so a lot of my best players left because I wasn’t a top 5 team even though we were still in the euro shield.

High quality players seem to leave consistently if you just fall short of top three or five, even youth players which is a little bit more frustrating.

While I get most players would want to achieve higher. I don’t think they should necessarily leave if you’ve achieve certain trophy qualifications like in my example where despite playing in the same competition as a team that was in the top five. I had players leave because they weren’t in the top five.
Also I think most (not all) youth players would want to stay at their club to help them get back to LoC glory, especially if we consider it’s their boyhood club.
