EZView - Video Surveillance 4+

When it comes to alarm notifications, this app is useless. The time one wants motion alarm is through the night but this app does not show motion after a certain time even though there is movement. Trying to call support is totally frustrating as nine out of ten times the person is deemed not at their desk and then they do not return calls despite saying they will get the person to call back, which is rudeness itself. Also playback is a hard slog as there are no identification indicators on the bar that is supposed to show movement thus, if one does not know a time of a suspicious movement one has to sit and watch a slow playback for hours before one finds what it wants. Not happy with this app at all!!

Reading some of the bad reviews and I wouldn’t let that out you off using the au view system, I install quite a few and some complex systems using the uniview. It takes abit of time to tweek the settings to meet your internet speeds you are delt with and it’s not really just a plug and play system as you will get frustrated. For fast response times on slow internet connections use EZDNS which is free with the system but you have to turn it on and configure it inside the web interface and then don’t use the P2P option. Takes about 2 weeks to fine tune any cctv system really these days, Have fun! Regards Tekidan :-)

Although this app was working reasonably well on my iOS tablet and iPhone, now after the last update, I no longer get an audible sound when a notification is received, which means I am totally unaware of any movement in the camera active zones. This just about makes notifications useless, apart from scrolling through them later to check what the movement was.

Not happy, as security is now compromised!
