Wonderful software, fantastic, fast and knowledgeable support. Highly recommend Ecwid. As a startup we can’t afford to use glitchy freeware/software. Ecwid is the most robust platform we’ve experienced and we gladly pay for our premium subscription. I can’t imagine how much it would cost to create a turn-key e-com platform that works as well. Only criticism is the ability to customise email. I’m sure with the talent that you guys have got, you can make it as user friendly as the rest of your system.

For now, changing the design and the layout of the template indeed may require some knowledge of HTML and Freemarker, which may be challenging for some users.

As I see, our developers have an idea to make email notifications' editing more customer friendly.

Do not use they tip you off

They signed me up with Facebook and Instagram stores with old technology which is now unable to allow me to sell via the channels. Iv sent thousands on Facebook ads to realise it don’t work. Iv lost millions in sales revenue, they have admitted fault but yet to fix issue. I asked for a free app for inconsistent poor service as they blamed me for several years. I couldn’t swap to another company as they were linked to my Facebook which I could not access my end. They offered £30 compensation for over £1million point revenue lost in sales. My Facebook page has 50,000 customers and no way to link the products to the system. Shocking customer service!!!! Edit to reply - It’s got nothing to do with rejected items. Your system was old and it was an old catalog so wouldn’t update until you physically deleted it and added a new one. You ignored me for 7 years so therefore my catalog wouldn’t work due to your incompetence for 7 years. Your customer service is shocking! You ignored me and made out the issue was my fault! When it was entirely your responsibility to resolve and you chose to ignore me. Costing me millions in damages…. £40 compensation doesn’t even touch the issue all I asked for was a free app and you have chosen to ignore me again and insult me further! Over 20 years I been loyal with your company AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

ECWID has been a true god send for me for trying to get a small business off the ground with a new online shop. So simple to set up and integrate and so so easy to use. It’s modern and simple but yet full of great features. Love the customisation it offers too. I’m learning more each day. I am using the venture plan and feel the cost of such plan is just about right. I wouldn’t pay any more for a stater business. Thank you Ecwid. Ps.
