Cannot redeem credits waste of time

I have a cult membership but the AppleTV app hasn’t been able to connect to the payment server in order to redeem any of my credits… for any film, for the last month… since this is the only reason a member would ever use the app, I’m not sure why you’ve bothered to launch the service at all.

Having read all the negative comments on here I suggest Curzon go back to the drawing board with a new developer, this ones clearly not working.

Bought film and never appeared in Library.

purchased a film on the ap last night (Saturday night) to watch. Had been looking forward to it all week. Payment went through and film didn’t appear in my library. got through to Curzon Cust serv at 745 pm (Curzon cust serv close at 8pm) I spoke to an agent who asked me to send screen shot of payment which I did and I was told politely told to sort it out with Apple pay as they hadn’t paid Curzon. When I pointed out that I have proved payment and that it is up to Curzon to sort this out with their chosen merchant for payment (Apple Pay), why should I spend my evening arguing the toss with Apple. Eventually after a heated conversation (not the agents fault) they agreed to download the film to me that I had already paid for and 12 hours later is showing on my credit card statement. Clearly problems here, I don’t think I will be using the ap again in a hurry as cannot be bothered with the hassle frankly. Shame as really dont expect this from Curzon.

It is reasonable to expect an app to work well if you’re offering it as a method and selling point by which a person can watch films at home.

Having to sign in and out for it to remember your credits, cast button disappearing, rewind and forward buttons seemingly not existing or perhaps disappearing (?) and the pause button not responding, do not make for a good watching experience. Although, I do appreciate the range of movies and being able to watch them at home.
