New app has many pros but a big negative

Thanks for the new app, many useful improvements. It looks great, authentication works more reliably, the payment flow is less clunky and it’s a lot easier to see tickets booked and how many membership tickets are remaining. Also great to be able to browse current and upcoming films and add to the watchlist.


On the downside being able to tailor the app experience to a local venue no longer seems to work as well as the old app. Selecting a venue on the Hub tab shows films that aren’t showing at my venue (so is either broken or pointless). There’s also no ability to save a favourite venue on the Venue tab so I’m having to search for my local cinema every time to see all the film times for the day I want to visit or to scroll through the calendar to see the dates of special screenings. Please can venue preference be properly applied throughout the new app asap?

Thank you for your feedback and the balanced assessment of the pros and cons. Based on this and other notes we have received, we have made some changes to help find local showtimes by day and by week, but we acknowledge that this doesn't solve the problem you have highlighted and so we're working on a more comprehensive update. Your feedback is gratefully received, please bear with us while we take the next steps.

Dreadful update

No ability to filter *properly* on your local cinema, which makes it incredibly difficult to see what’s actually on and when in the upcoming week. Tickets don’t show up properly in your account (so have to screenshot for seat details etc); no confirmation emails sent; no ability to add to Apple wallet. Also, the back background makes it hard to read anything. Overall, dreadful compared to last version of app. Please sort the glitches quickly!


Edit 25/09: in response to the developer response, there is still no ability to add to the Apple Wallet! I’ve just booked a film and it’s not possible (even with the scrolling…). Still no email confirmation, and the ticket info is useless. Any tickets booked before the update have full details including screen and seat number. Any booked after this update just have the day and time of booking. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, logged in and out, waiting for the updates, but no luck! Sorry, it’s still not a good app, sadly. (Still love the cinemas, though - they are definitely 5 star!)

Thank you for your feedback. Based on this, we've made some updates to the app to help find local showtimes by day and by week. There are more updates soon to come. In the meantime, there is an Apple Wallet button on the booking confirmation page (on some devices it might be necessary to scroll down a little). We'll continue to make improvements based on our guest feedback so all comments are gratefully received. We hope to see you in a cinema soon!

Great new app!

As a regular Everyman goer, I was excited to use the new app. What a feast for the eyes it is too. Just as you would expect from Everyman it oozes cool. The customer experience is as slick as their brand, with new features including the option to ‘favourite’ up and coming films, so you need never forget what is on your ‘must see’ list - it just makes life that bit better knowing you have things to look forward to!


Bravo Everyman, can’t wait to while away the colder months snug on your sofas, with my favourite 1216 Burger and Oreo Milkshake. Let the booking commence!
