Good game but challenging
I try hard to fund my game purchases through advert consumption rather than cash. And so far so good on this game. I am a patient individual so I will try the same level several times rather than use the boosters. I also play this competitively against my wife (same level - ready steady go). Level 88 proved almost insurmountable but after being stuck at that for 2 days (probably 20 or so attempts) finally managed to clear it without using boosters of any kind. Very satisfying. Never found the bombshell too problematic - just have to concentrate on clearing them down before the rest. I like that the timer does not start till you move a piece so you can look at a level for a bit before tackling it. Very good game. Hope the levels continue to become more challenging. I would like the option to go to an earlier level to show others, but only a minor observation.
A good and challenging game…
First of all the good bits:
It’s not necessary to spend to progress, admittedly some levels are tricky and can take a long time to crack, but that’s a good thing, it wouldn’t be rewarding if there was no challenge.
Currently I am on level 196 and I haven’t spent anything. (Update, 2 days spent to finally beat level 196, now passing level 206 still not spent a penny)
Now the bad bits, to be honest there isn’t much, but it takes 30 minutes to recover a single life, and you can only get 5, so the developers are actually limiting how long you can actually play the game. I don’t have a huge issue with that per se, but on challenging levels it becomes frustrating because it’s very easy to forget a sequence so lives get wasted trying to get beyond a certain spot. So perhaps offering a shorter life building time, say 15 minutes would be better, the occasions that you get infinite lives can help, but in reality these tend to fall at a point of easier levels so don’t really help. Alternatively allow players to use the infinite life periods at their discretion.
Also, developers lower your prices and you might find your income increases, I wouldn’t mind paying £3-4 for the monthly golden ticket, but not £10, that’s just bonkers.
Love this game hard but so good
This has quickly become my favourite game. I’ve purchased it as it’s so good. Levels are doable without boosters but have sometimes needed several lives to figure it out. Great mind game. I spent £8.99 on the game. Some levels seem impossible but often not. Currently on level 157. Bomb level can be done. Sometimes completed with literal seconds to spare.
