Text or Die 12+

I’ve liked this game for awhile now, it’s been fun and all but it take up A BUNCH of your storage for NO reason, and when I set my country from America to Britain it still gave me American questions I didn’t know the answer two. One time when it asked for I kind of clock and I put analog clock, it asked me to correct to ALARM clock. It has a bunch of words that it doesn’t let you do and according to this game a Venus fly trap doesn’t have roots. There’s a weird glitch in the bonus sections too, when if you mess up a question and it asks if you want it corrected, if you say yes or no it will just freeze at the keypad and do nothing and you have to reopen the app. Now time for something i think is the MOST infuriating, all the feminine avatars are DARK SKINNED and all the masculine avatars are WHITE, and there’s NO exceptions, I don’t know what this is implying but as I am a very pale female there seems to be a problem for what avatar to choose. Though I’ve deleted it by now because I can’t spell and I don’t use WiFi outside so I can’t get ads, AND my phone has very little storage and this app was the polar opposite of help, it filled half the storage. So if you want it, you do you, but if you are as annoyed as I am, safe to say you won’t be jumping into getting this app.

I have been playing this game for 4 years now, and when i first started it was great: all the questions were easy enough and you always new the answers to them. Now on the other hand, its awful: the questions are super hard sometimes i google the answers and when I type one of them it says that wrong when there is nothing wrong with them (!) and its not a no WiFi game because if your playing with no/bad WiFi you can’t correct your answer by watching an add. I also paid extra so I wouldn’t have to watch adds but that didn’t work and I paid £1.99 for nothing! Here are some examples of how bad it is: the question was ‘name an animal starting with P’ i put panda and it said that was not an animal i had the same question but the animal had to star with W so I put whale it said do you mean wasp so i said ok and when to watch an add but it said ‘add unavailable as you have no WiFi’ (its not a no WiFi game). You also can use spaces e.g. you couldn’t put State of Grace if the question was name a Taylor Swift song from the album Red you would have to put Stateofgrace and then you can’t see spelling mistakes as easily. And speak about name a Taylor Swift song from the album Red I put We Are Never Getting Back Together (without spaces) an dit said it was wrong but it let someone write Cruel Summer (from Lover) and let them win!!! In short i would not recommend it as it is not properly programmed and is a scam!!!

The idea of this game is amazing!! I would love to come back when they’ve sorted the issues or if anyone knows of a better version?
First of all a lot of the answers are not accepted even though I know them to be true, it doesn’t count my own sons name as a boys name or the old Justin bieber songs (from when I was one of those crazy teenagers obsessed with him) as Justin bieber songs or the cereal that I have in my cupboard right now as cereal.
Secondly the way it makes out as though you’re playing against real people but you’re not is quite a shame, it would be awesome to really play against others. The reasons I know they are bots is that no one ever gets the same answer even when the obvious one contains more letters. And also that there is no timer and adds can be watched between games so if it was real we’d be all out of sync.
That brings us onto the final one: ads. Now I don’t normally complain about ads because I understand that this is how free games make their money but you really need to monitor them because alot seem really scammy. And how come I can’t click the x in the corner without being taken to the App Store first? And also the fact that adds are watched DURING the game and not just between them is so annoying especially when it gives you the choice to double your coins by watching one or not bothering yet somehow you still have to watch one.
Nope. Delete. Such a shame really is because I LOVE the idea!!!
