7 Wonders Duel 4+

Great game but average app for now

The apps has numerous flaws:
Opponent’s moves are instant = much too fast. No log to counter that.
Animation timings are all wrong (opening screen takes ages when some important info is instant).
Only one (relatively weak) AI.
Online play is not good:
- disconnections badly handled, close the app then reopen later a game starts when I did not want it, also seen other glitches (like string over string or saying I was connected on another machine when it kicked me out in a crash)
- a timer is in place but is not visible. Forces you to play the simplest move if not fast enough. Are we not allowed to think a bit??? Much too fast timing.
- why the need to create a new account when I already had one for 7 Wonders app?
- not many opponents which is disappointing for such a good IP.

Good game but app could and should be better.

Hi there, many thanks for all those feedbacks.
- Opponents moves/animations : next version coming in december will fix that, a log will be made available.
- AI : we tuned it to have a winning rate of 60%
- Disconnections : a minor version is coming mid november to fix that.
- Timer : we plan to add options on custom games to remove the timer
- Account : it is planned to merge accounts between 7 Wonders and 7W Duel. The current technical infrastructure is not merged already but we are on it.
- Player community is growing every day and is shared accross iOS and Android.

Great game and great online play! Reliable and fast moving!

As a big lover of online games I’m really happy with this app, as a game it is great and delivered really well as an app. After trying plenty of other games and online play is almost impossible, can’t find matches, games crashing, players leaving, this app is really reliable I can find games instantly the servers seem reliable and no quitting and very fast paced with the player timers. Great game all round and finally can play online! Every time I try other apps like catan i just crash game after game.

It’s sticks and then crashes

On the local network, the games are so temperamental that it takes a while to load up if at all.
Sometimes it just fails to load completely and I have been waiting for an opponent for 2 minutes.
We have reloaded the game several times and just crashes on the screen waiting for opponent.
It’s a great game but has quite a lot of bugs, and considering I have paid for the game, not good.
Please can the bugs be fixed.
