YW tool 4+

I’m pretty positive app setups aren’t usually this difficult across the board… user friendly is big in tech and this isn’t user friendly. I’ve tried turning airplane mode on, turned my data off, redownloaded the app multiple times, connected to the WiFi first, opened the app first, I tried every step in different orders…no luck. I saw the “YW” WiFi as not connected and connected to the device… I’m not the problem and multiple users aren’t the problem. I have an iPhone 15 so my phone model is not the issue. TikTok shop just gives you a refund and says it was damaged during shipment when your cam doesn’t work instead of troubleshooting it. So idk about user error… Maybe a new software/app developer who can work out the bugs for the company might be what’s needed. Sadly I’m on the sidelines with my moist ears because the camera is not working. I tried following what’s posted on reviews on the App Store and the TikTok shop. No luck. Then the fact they immediately give refunds tells me they know it’s flawed.

I've tried numerous times to use this tool and followed instructions exactly. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling thinking I may have made a mistake. No, no mistakes, it just does not work. Don't waste your time or money like I did. Learn from my mistake of actually buying this product. The only thing it does do is power on, so if you need just a little bit of light this will work for you

I see people here complaining about the camera. Seems like operator error. It works using WiFi . You have to turn on the device and then go to settings and connect to the device via WiFi (it will say no internet connection). Once you connect to the device via WiFi then you can open the app and then you will be able to see the camera. When you are done using the device shut off the device so it doesn’t give off WiFi signal, or it will attempt to reconnect to it.
