Constant freeze-up
The new and improved app constantly freezes up while watching. Requires totally exiting the app as it will not reload or continue. I have had to delete the app and download fresh to get it to work. Half the time it works just fine. I really liked the previous version to be able to watch the news at my leisure on my smart devices. This is so frustrating. Please fix it. (FYI, I am using an Iphone with the latest IOS version)
Very Buggy App!
The app will not allow you to view a “Live” broadcast after registering to do so, which is what most everyone will want to do with this app. The live broadcast continues to display the “Lock” icon as if you haven’t logged in, but I did login. The problem happens on both the AppleTV app and the iPhone app. I went in to the App Store to report the problem. You can’t… When you select the Support icon, it immediately opens the URL website where there is no option for reporting a problem, BUT the live stream will work via the website, just not the app. Awful!
Apple Airplay feature is glitchy.
I was excited that WFMZ finally launched an app that supported apple Airplay, allowing users to instantly watch newscasts and other programming to one one’s smart TV. The feature works great at first but about 10 minutes into the newscast it starts to become shaky and the picture freezes, making it impossible to view. Hopefully they are able to resolve this so that there is consistent smooth playback.
