The Weather Lab app alerts you to impending weather danger at locations like home, work or your kids’ school, so you can protect your family by knowing what’s coming—up to 15 minutes before the storm arrives. It’s also a great year-round weather app, compete with current conditions, forecasts and an easy-to-use weather map with radar, satellite imagery and more.

Adding extended 10 Day forecast, 48 hours of hourly forecast data, 6 hours of hourly forecast directly on the homepage, satellite mapping, power outages, and air quality alerts. Other bug fixes and performance improvements.

Update November 2021
I really like many of the features this app has. For example it is one of the few apps that doesn’t charge for lightning data or any data for that matter. I also love the notifications this app provides! For example, storms in the area is usually the first notification that gets me watching the weather radar. The notification stating a dangerous storm is approaching, with the tornado threat level, is also really valued where I live. These are notifications I haven’t found in other apps. Finding a reliable weather app without being blasted by intrusive advertising and/or submitting your continuous exact location seems almost impossible these days which is why I rate this app FIVE STARS!!! ***Update*** I really like the new UI update. It makes it easy to quickly see what’s happening over the extended period. I also like the option to see the weather fronts on the map view. Overall this is one of the best weather apps I’ve used.
