Ultimate College Basketball HC 4+

The game is fun and I like the process of building up everything however the upgrades of the facility are way too expensive comparatively to what you are getting paid out, I understand it shouldn’t be done in couple seasons but you can play 20-30 seasons and have barely upgraded stuff to 3 level… one more thing to change in my opinion is the recruitment points rewards for a player getting drafted… I personally believe the reward should be much higher, I was so happy to see I finally got a player drafted and my reward was like 50 points, I can’t even recruit anyone with that. Which would be nice to be able to sign some great players after a player is drafted as it is deserved. Over all the game is fun just could use little tweaks

The depth is great, it’s not too much or too little in terms of offseason tasks and management of the roster, staff, etc. However, starting 10 overall behind everyone else and the RC points being so low that you can’t recruit anyone practically with over 73 overall the first few seasons is diabolical. I’m all for starting at the bottom and rebuilding a program. In fact, that’s what I love to do the most out of any type of sport management game. But there just too many road blocks at the start. Realistically, a good coaching staff can rebuild a roster in a few years. I’m three years complete through mine with several 5 star potentials who are developing so slowly, even while upgrading my coaching staff and giving them playing time. These guys won’t even see 80 overall before graduation. I genuinely like everything about the game except this. I’ve purchased the premium version of both this and the college football one. But the same issue remains with both. I’d love to see some adjustments on so I can upgrade it to 5 stars.

The visual of this game is really impressive. The menus are clean, everything is laid out nicely, and the little shimmer effect is a nice touch. While this game is so stunning on first glance, there are some features that are not in the game that frustrate me.

My biggest complaint is that there is no ability to set player minutes and sub players in and out during games. They only come on as group subs when the cpu sees fit. Being able to do that would be a game changer. Improved recruiting where you have to battle with other schools for recruits from the jump would be nice too.

I love features such as facility upgrades, playbook efficiency, yearly goals and some other things but PLEASE at the very least allow players to set custom minutes.
