Trying to connect my Linksys Router
I couldn’t get my router connected to my WiFi but I could only get blue or orange colors on my new Linksys. From what I have read, you need purple lights to make the router work. I’ve never seen purple lights on my router. Can anyone please help because I called customer support and they were rude and couldn’t help. They said I needed a new router. I just bought this one 6 months ago. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I have nothing bad to say about this app.
USELESS!!
I already have a Linksys router set up and have been using it 2-3 years and I am trying to see if it needs an update since I’m having problems with my streaming services freezing whenever I’m trying to watch something. This app won’t let me find my router to see if an update in the software is available. It keeps telling me no Linksys routers are avail nearby but yet I’m sitting 5 feet away from the router! This app is USELESS to me!!
Why change a good thing?
It’s not difficult to reset a password, which this app now continually asks for, it is frustrating though as the use of apps such as these are a means of security monitoring and not the routers. Password changes are a good thing, periodically or voluntarily, not if/when you already have a need for an app such as this (again, most likely FROM a security concern) and just want everything hitch free and familiar. Being forced into a password change just raises more security concerns.
