Rhythm is an app that uses flash cards to develop a sense of rhythm. The exercises and classes in the app will help you gradually learn to recognize and play rhythmic patterns at different tempos. Training sessions are graded from beginner to advanced levels in simple, complex, and irregular time signatures. With regular practice, these drills will help you learn to read notes and rhythm from a sheet of music. Classes with a metronome and a drum kit will help children and beginners learn complex musical drills.

A great tool for all
This is a great little tool to work on subdivision and consistency. I use it as a morning warmup for my mind and fingers. As a string player, it’s great for left hand timing by going through with each finger. I do this on my instrument but it’s nice to have the app for early and late in the day since I’m in an apartment. While all the rhythms in the app are simple, it’s great for subdivisions and showing tendencies.
Overall the app is simple and easy to use. It is both entertaining and addicting with a variety of sounds to choose (my favorite is the strings pizz). In this app I like that you see your errors and the degree to which you are early or late. I also like that there isn’t a score, but a word like “metronome”, “virtuoso”, and some not as good like “arm chair drummer”. It gives the app a unique charm.
Despite the bug fixes, I still experience latency issues with regular and Bluetooth earbuds but without there is no problem.
This app is great for beginners or even pros if you only go for green. This app is also free with very little ads. Download it!
Great tool
I really like how this one lets you customize which types of note you’ll get. And to shuffle of the exercises.
It also offers much more precise measuring than other apps.
