Welcome to the Quext IoT Resident App! Residents within Quext IoT communities can enjoy complete control of their thermostat and lock right from their phone.
This app allows residents within a connected community to remotely adjust their thermostat, create “events” for temperature changes, and more. Forget your key? The Quext IoT app allows residents to lock and unlock their apartment and designated community areas directly through their phone.
Note: This application is intended for apartment communities utilizing Quext IoT technology. If your apartment doesn’t currently have Quext IoT, let us know at onequext.com/contact and we’ll reach out to your property manager.

My apartment complex installed these and we all received new key fobs.
The temperature adjuster is so tetchy - there are a million other ways to adjust temp on a touchscreen (using +/- buttons, for example) that is so much easier for app users than the current UI with the sliding scale. The only aspect that I do like about the thermostat is: I love being able to control it remotely.
In terms of accessing my apartment, this app is basically useless. It never finds my lock the first time I click Unlock - I always have to do it twice. Always takes at least 30 seconds. Key fob is always so much faster - even when my arms are full of groceries and my phone is already in my hand.
Quext needs to take some notes from Latch. My sister has it at her apartment complex and it is so much better. I feel like this app was made for an iPhone 5.

Dark mode!
The user interface isn’t the best, it takes few clicks before you can actually open your door or adjust the temperature, for me the mosh important feature would be dark mode! In the evening while a sleep or something and went to change the temperature, your screen gets so bright and not so good for your eyes.

Faak’n love it
This has made life so easy, with in-laws visiting coming and going with our fobs me and the wife can just jump on this app and unlock our front door, super easy, and I get to turn on and of the ac and fans of the apt with even having to get out of bed or getting up from my during the games! Love it, I faak’n love this app
