My RUSH Mobile 12+

When I first seen the Eye Center Dr., I came through the ER from another hospital. Due to the severity of the situation, me losing my sight in my left eye a few days earlier. I didn’t think it was as serious as it was. I was terrified and not knowing why was the issue. But the Eye Dr.’s made me fell comfortable and explained everything that was going on. They eased my anxiety and sacredness. To find out that you had Acute Glaucoma (which is rare it come with no warning signs) you wake up blind! And believe it or not it happened on my birthday, happy 55th to me!! Then to find out you have cataract in the other, what did I do to deserve this. But I had my cataract surgery and now I am fine, even with just having vision in one eye. They are fantastic Dr., they care about their patients and are very compassionate about what they do. I would recommend anybody that has eye problems to come to the Eye Center, I love them, I would not change them for the world!!

For a person like me, although a senior, a bit tech savvy, I really enjoy the MyRush/MyChart app. It’s a very comprehensive app for all things related to your care at Rush Medical. I’d say my favorite is the pre check before my appointments. Depending on the physician, sometimes there’s a survey that’s required to be completed. And they may take several minutes. It’s so great to finish those tasks in the comfort of your home or car before the appointment. Allowing for a much quicker and easier check in process. But that’s just one aspect of the app I like. There are so many more. I highly recommend people to use it.

Aug 11th, 2023 Right breast lumpectomy/ partial mastectomy went very well. From day 2 after surgery til day6 no pain. Upon travel 45 minutes each way to & from Cosco i filled my rx for pain. Taking only a 4th of a pill, in about 20 minutes i was unable to stay awake & had my husband. Lou to help me to bed. On September 7th the stitches are almost all dissolved & i had my external & internal Ultrasound done this am at Northwest Health hospital extension LifeWorks. Results should be faxed to RUSH & my Dr ,Alexander, D. O. (In LaPorte) in 2 days. I’m extremely happy with my surgery at RUSH & Dr. Madrigano. Sherry Cantrell.
