Description

The Moasure app – formerly known as the Moasure PRO app – is the innovative companion app for all Moasure devices.

Connecting via Bluetooth, the Moasure app provides you with a sleek and user-friendly interface to help you measure, view and edit your measurement data in one place, without the need for Wi-Fi, GPS, or cell phone signal.

Measure and draw simultaneously

See your measurements visualized in 2D & 3D instantly on-screen, with a number of different ways to view your data. Capture the area, perimeter, true surface area, volume, elevation, gradient, and more of your measured space, in the time it takes to walk the site. Plus, choose from a variety of path types to tackle complex spaces with ease, such as straight lines, curves, and arcs.

Inspect and edit your measurements

Utilize the range of powerful in-app tools to enhance your data and diagrams, including the ability to: determine the rise, run and gradient between any two selected points, calculate cut-and-fill volumes, add background images to measurements, label points of interest, customize colors of layers, determine net areas using an in-built calculator and a whole host of other productive tools.

Organize and export your files

Save each measurement, and categorize files into folders for easy access within the app. Use a variety of exporting options, including directly to CAD through DXF & DWG formats and as a PDF, CSV, and IMG files for quick and convenient sharing between customers and colleagues.

The Moasure app is free to download, and there are no subscription fees.

Good device

Haven’t had it for long and I like it. There are a few things I’d like to see in the app update though. The ability to undo a measurement and the ability to set known measurements into a line. Like I said I’m still new to it but there are points that it won’t allow me to edit and I’d like to delete/ ignore all point of possible. The last thing I’d like to be able to do is drag and drop points from different layers if they are supposed to line up but don’t quite in the calibration process. Otherwise quite the handy tool. Especially like the ability to overlay measurements over pictures.

Easy to use

I tried the device right away and found it quite easy to use. I will be using this for my landscaping project to insure proper drainage. So much better than a string and tape measure (another person gave a 1 star… ??!! WHY???). I will be using it on my property overseas as well. I love that it doesn’t need satellite or cell service to work. This is perfect because some of the places I will be measuring overseas have either spotty or no cell service. I’m GLAD that I found your product! A couple suggestions: 1. The Stick needs a better phone mount as my phone is in a case and it doesn’t provide a secure enough hold on it. 2. The iPad app needs to have the ability to switch views between Portrait to Landscape view for editing.

Insulting

After attempting to use this device and both apps, I’m throwing in the towel. In landscape construction, I’ve spent hours and hours trying to handle the device just right all while getting error messages from “device placed too hard to object” all the way to “place device decisively on object”, it would be much more efficient to just use string lines and a tape measure for 1% of the cost. What’s literally disgusting is the user interface of not one, but the two apps made to do apparently the same thing. Despite being made for apparently the same thing, neither app offers all the capabilities of the other and theres apparently no way for them to talk to each other. Oh yeah, want to edit points, name them for reference, or add layers—forget it!! While the videos lead with so much opportunity, Moasure has fallen short of making good on any of those promises. Unbelievable waste of money and time.
