Best Mastodon app yet!!!!!!

I rarely ever review apps, but Mastowatch has been such a lifesaver!! The UI is simple, efficient and you can tell a lot of time and care when into the development overall! I prefer Mastowatch over all others!

Fantastic

Just a really great way to explore Mastodon and the greater Fediverse. Plus a great way to support the dev with a 3.99 IAP.

Great job Justin!

Great idea, but…

Needs work. Note this is NOT a Mastodon app, it’s for finding details of existing instances. Helpful if you want to set up an account on one (or more).

The existing instances fediscience.org and qoto.org return “invalid.” Are some not searchable for some reason?

The search function requires that you know the full name of the instance. And that it be in the directory. It can’t find parts of names.

The list always reverts to the top. That is, if I choose an instance to inspect, then return to browse (since search isn’t very useful), I start at the top again.

The interface is a bit confusing. Why does selecting the name of the instance under heading “community directory” bring up the search page?

This could be a really valuable resource!
