Lemon8 - Lifestyle Community 12+

I absolutely love this app it’s perfect! I love to post stuff but can never find the right platform lemon8 is so easy to post on and there’s so many informational videos on how to do just about anything! I was looking for acrylic nail inspo and I looked it up on lemon8 and omg! It let me sort into what I wanted by color and shape and omg!!! I finally found a nail design that I wanted in like one second on lemon8! It made it so easy! On every other app I have been trying to find a perfect nail design and it was so annoying because it never let me sort the nails into what I wanted. But I will say I had a problem in the beginning even tho I was of age to get the app it would not let me in so I deleted and redownloaded and put in a random birthday saying like 1930 I think but it still wouldn’t let me in and that’s plenty of age. So I emailed them and they got right back to me the next day and fixed the problem so now I have this amazing app!!!!

I absolutely loved this app! I had no complaints until recently. It was so nice and interactive in the comments. Everyone was lifting eachother up and I felt as if it was just an app full of girls girls. (If you know what I’m saying..lol.) I really liked how you could search up LITERALLY ANYTHING and there would be soooooooo so so many results.
Now..the only thing I have to complain about is it logged me out of my account when TikTok took over and now I can’t log in because I didn’t have a TikTok account…so I ended up having to make one but it logged me out again for some reason. (And it wasn’t because of community violations or anything like that..it simply just logged me out.) So, now, I can’t even log back in because everyone I press on say the phone number box (to type your phone number to log in) or the email/username box, it won’t let me type anything. So I’m not sure if I’m the only one having that issue..but yeah…that’s my complaint. So that’s the ONLY reason I give it 3/5 because I really liked the app and I miss it lol.. and I’m sad that all of the posts I made will be gone if I were to make a new account. (I also tried making a new acc and it still would not let me type anything.) So if that would be fixed…even if I had to make a new acc…it would absolutely 100% be a 5/5!!

This was an awesome app… until it wasn’t. I’ve had this since summer. They never ever notified us that they were merging with our TikTok accounts until they already did in 2025. Now, my professional lemon8 account handle has my personal TikTok handle… which is my whole name. I don’t like that. This is a professional account. I have a professional TikTok made but it wasn’t logged in when this was merged. I have tried to unmerge in every way possible… but it’s not possible with your “legacy account”. What? I have built my following on my professional and personal profiles and each are very different. They should not be merged. I also would like my own lemon8 account for personal use. Not to use a random TikTok for that.

This is a breach of privacy, and it needs to be fixed. I’ve been inquiring for months now. My account doesn’t show my face and is about helping others. I’d like to keep it that way. Not have my identity from my personal brand on a different platform mixed up with my professional brand on this platform. 1 star for lack of real support, lack of transparency, lack of communication, lack of troubleshooting, and just violating our rights without an accessible solution. Zero stars, if I could.
