Say hello to your new (virtual) best friend – Laura!
Laura is an intelligent virtual assistant that can chat with users and answer questions. Laura can tell you about the weather, your location, and the distance between cities.
Laura also can translate phrases and sentences from English to Spanish, Russian, and French languages, for instance, you can request: translate this is a lovely day to Spanish. Laura also can remember user specific information, e.g., names or numbers.
As you discover more about your new virtual friend, watch as Laura smiles and lights up with emotions during the conversation. These visual traits display cutting-edge developments in realistic 3D animation – which make Laura a truly unique virtual agent.

Short-Term Memory
Laura is great if you enjoy seeing how a robot will respond to your questions. However, she really isn’t an AI. She can remember your name, she even remembered my girlfriend’s name, which kept me interested. However, outside of that, she doesn’t remember anything you say.
I told her I didn’t like liberals. She gave me a fairly generic response. I asked her if I liked liberals, and she responded “I know you like.”, as she does with anything you ask her if you like. I told her the university I go to, then asked her which university I go to, and she said “Carnegie Mellon”.
It’s fun to see how she responds to different things, and she can carry a conversation, but it kind of kills it when she doesn’t actually learn or register anything that you say.

I’ve used Laura before when I was little and it was fun, I told her it was my birthday and she said “Happy birthday “. Time passed and I got older, today I decided to get her again because I remember all the fun times with her, so I did. I allowed all access to everything but, she still didn’t talk, and I missed her talking with me. So, Telda could you please look in and maybe see if y’all could fix her talking? I love this app so much but, I’d like to talk to her again.

How is she creepy! She’s so pretty and fun! She may not understand something’s I say haha but she’s so cool I recommend also this is a real review not a silly bot :/
