Description
This application is part of the "Journey into History" exhibition, which will take place from September 12 to November 10, 2024, at the Science and Art Gallery of the Czech Academy of Sciences (Národní 3, Prague 1). The exhibition, divided into several sections, provides an episodic insight into the workshops of historians and archaeologists from two institutions of the Academy of Sciences: the Prague Institute of Archaeology and the Institute of History.
Contemporary modern technologies and artificial intelligence tools are breaking the limits of existing possibilities in traditional historical and archaeological research, enabling an entirely new perspective on artifacts, works of art, or structures in a virtual environment.
The exhibition makes extensive use of augmented reality, and through this application, visitors have the opportunity to view 3D models of virtual replicas of various contexts from our history.
