What if you had to remember where you were the afternoon of Wednesday, January 13, 1999? With Journ you would have known. Journ records your location every second of every day. But don’t worry, Journ does not share the data with anyone - not Google, not Apple, not the Government, not anyone. It is your private record and can go on for years. Journ is a must have app for anyone that wishes to keep track of everywhere they go and be able to go back to any day and time to see where they were.

Journ automatically records your exact location history with precision timing and detailed information. View your daily movements on an Apple Map with a rainbow track. Simply do a 2 second press anywhere on the track or select a specific time to see the location information. Each location in the log will show the following:
- Exact timestamps and coordinates
- Speed, altitude, and heading data
- Full addresses including street, street number, city, county, state and country
- Time zones

Possible Uses for Journ:
- Record and retrace your drives, hikes, bike rides, neighborhood walks, etc.
- See everywhere you went yesterday.
- See where all you went last night when you got lost downtown.
- Get instant town/county/state/country names during travels.
- See your speed right where/when they claim you were speeding.
- Monitor daily driving distances.
- Locate a restaurant where you ate.
- Find your parked vehicle.
- If you are moving when you look at your track, Journ will automatically show you speed, altitude and location.

Important Notes:

Battery Impact: 
- Continuous GPS usage drains your battery faster than normal.
- A battery case or extra daily charging may be needed.

Accuracy Considerations:
- Tracks phone location, not person (not really good for alibi).
- App may stop and logging interrupted if Journ is terminated by the iOS, best to do a manual restart each morning and before critical movements to make sure it is logging.
- Stationary iPhones (like on the nightstand over night) can show lots of short random movements.
- GPS readings with greater than 130 feet (40m) inaccuracies are filtered out and accurate locations of times nearby are used.
- Airplane flights limits tracking, try to get near a window.
- Days when you were in other time zones show the log in the other timezone times (annotated with the time zone name).
