Hiragana Sensei 4+

i've been learning Japanese in school, and learned hiragana last year, but it’s still important to keep practicing it, and duolingo just wasn’t helping much. this app helps me practice the characters, and learn new words like wind, bag, body things like that, which i don’t learn other wise. plus the designs are so cute! even once i finish the lessons i will definitely keep using them to practice :)
i also want to check out the katakana one, it looks amazing!

The little animals are so cute and they are really helpful to learn the characters/hiragana with! The only problem was in the kotoba challenge where you had to spell it out (ありがとう=arigatou)… it was “こんいちは” and “こんばんは”. They are both pronounced with “wa” at the end, but in the lesson it said it was wrong when I wrote “konnichiwa”. I think that it’s great to have “ha” because the character IS ha, but I think “wa” should be counted as correct because that’s how a native would write it. Overall great app!

The lessons are really great! And if you don’t know the hiragana character there is a full chart for you to study on in the app. I find it very helpful to the point where I made flash cards of each character in the chart. I use the cards when I’m not busy (which is quite often due to the quarantine) and once I’ve had enough of the cards I test myself with the challenges. Thank you for this! I look forward to also using “Katakana Sensei” and using the same method.
