I have to use this app in order to get a weight loss prescription covered by insurance. I have to log my meds and they keep disappearing. Also I have to put in the food that I eat. Supposed to take a picture and it will give you nutritional values bit it doesn’t work. I eat meals from Tovala which provides all nutritional values but doesn’t come close to what the app says. I’ve tried several ways to enter food with little success. In order to get my meds at a co-pay price I have to enter everything on this app. I was spending so much time trying to do this but all the info I entered sometimes saves but mostly doesn’t save. I feel as if there is way too much info required and if it would save correctly wouldn’t be so bad but I will go through weeks that disappears. I then get letters from CVS that tells me I that I have to pay full price because I haven’t logged everything. Really bad app. I also have to speak with a nutritionist once a month but either they don’t follow up or the appointments get cancelled. I use the chat function and still get letters that says I’m not logging correctly.

I’m so excited to get started! I just took the time to read every single comment and I’m convinced that it’s just a matter of time before I’ll get to participate in a class action lawsuit!! Bring on the bugs and the hppa violations!! I’m ready!! Basically, your medication is being held hostage until you pay the incredibly high price of your privacy. BOOM! Don’t expect to feel good about yourself after that initial call. I fought my Doctor when she wanted me to try this medication. Refused to consider it because another of these medications made so sick that I literally had to quit taking it. But I agreed to try when my A1c hit 11. Within months it dropped to 7 and at my last appointment it was 6.5. And I wasn’t sick and I was losing weight. Sounds like a win-win, right?? But now, I have to sell my privacy to obtain a prescription, AND they have blocked my supplemental provider from paying it. They told me they’re more than happy to pay it but there is a block on my account because Caremark is my primary. Literally they are holding my medication hostage. I cannot have this medication unless I agree to stop being fat. Period. It’s a scary thought, isn’t it? I just can’t wait for some young, ambitious, and savvy attorney gets ahold of it.

I signed up because I had no choice (Caremark/CVS won’t pay for med unless I do). App is simple to use and I found the “courses” I had to take were actually well done and I learned a few things. I liked that if you messed up on a quiz, you can back out and try it again without penalty. The recipe section is filled with items applicable to the kind of diet you want to follow and they do look yummy. There is a glitch, tho, that I found in this app. I completed everything in the course section and everything was marked as complete. I even had a zoom mtg with Kelli and have an appointment set up with nutritionist. Unfortunately, on the home page, it keeps telling me I need to complete the learning sessions. The app does not recognize that I completed everything. Other than that, so far so good but I am only in the beginning stages of using this app.
